By her twenties Fabia already had a
massive following in the Free-style wrestling league.
From Wiltshire, Fabia made the trek north to try her
hand in the BWA Pro Rings. It was`nt long before this
beautiful young Blonde was noticed by the legendary
Champion Sue Brittan who wasted no time in appointing
Fabia as her Tag-Team partner.
Fabia still used some of her Free-Style moves in the
ring, and even prefered to wrestle bare-footed. Her
speciality was her own version of the `reverse folding
body-press` a move that won her a great many Bouts.
Fabia truly loved her wrestling, and was fast gaining
popularity in the Pro Ranks. Her main rival was the
Portuguese Beauty Ana Marie. They had several
Blonde V Brunette Battles in the early 1980`s.
Fabia`s very first professional bout was against Ana
Marie. Fabia was fortunate to have a strong
following of fans by the ringside who cheered every
move. Fabia was a mistress of leg weakeners and
certainly put Ana Marie`s shapely limbs into the
most painful of configurations.
Although Ana was the more experienced, she later
commented on the rough treatment handed out to her by
her rampant blonde rival.
A thumping body slam set Ana up for a full boston
expertly applied by Fabia. Ana Marie screamed her
submission giving the victory to Fabia.
For some unknown reason, Fabia refused to release the
crippling hold. It took the referee several seconds to
drag the barefooted blonde off her sobbing foe.
This surprising action earned Fabia an instant
disqualification, much to the annoyance of her yelling
followers. It was foolish and baffling gesture by
Fabia who having won the contest, simply threw away
her victory all for a rash few seconds of temper.
As quick as she made the transition to Pro style, a
year later Fabia suddenly vanished from the scene
altogether leaving a void for her baffled fans. But
for some time on this young lady remained a cult
figure.
