Stunning looks and expertise is what you got with Jackie McCann from Salford.

Gorgeous Blonde Middleweight, Jackie captured the vacant BWA Title in 1987 after the departure of Goldie Wells from the sport. Jackie defeated Stella Fox in the Final eliminations to emerge Champion. Jackie was cool and modest and rarely gave interviews. She held the title until she too left wrestling in 1989, after successfully defending her belt several times.

Jackie was one of the very few girls who mastered the `Victory-Roll`, a move that was just as risky to both combatants. If not timed correctly, it could easily render the applier unconscious. Jackie perfected this spectacular finisher to a high degree.

After a 20 year break from the sport, Jackie amazed the fans by returning to the Ring to take on talented heavyweight Shelby Beach in a `one-of` contest. This took place at the Pippa L`Vinn Manchester Club Tournament during Summer of 2008. The lovely Jackie made her entrance to raptuous applause and cheers from the excited spectators. They were about to witness a `living legend` compete from the wrestling heydays of the 1980`s. Fans will be aware that Miss McCann retired undefeated BWA Champion in 1987. All these years have made little difference to Jackie who attacked her younger heavier rival with gusto. Indeed she had the gorgeous Shelby screaming in pain on several occassions, by well applied locks and holds.

The Contest ended all-square after a furious `give and take` as Jackie left the Ring to a very well deserved standing ovation. Shelby Beach later declared it was a great honour to wrestle one of the leading Names in the Business. When asked if this was the start of an amazing `come-back`... Jackie smilingly replied "No Comment"....so we must all wait and see !
